Dr. Cohen specializes in a variety of bariatric procedures, including peri-operative endoscopy, gastric sleeve, and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass, as well as revisional and conversion surgeries for patients who have previously undergone bariatric operations. He also performs a wide range of general surgeries, such as advanced hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction, anti-reflux surgery, and anorectal procedures, utilizing both laparoscopic and robotic techniques to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.

Dr. Cohen earned his Medical Doctorate from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery at Einstein Medical Center, where he was honored with the Outstanding Resident Educator Award and the Outstanding Chief Resident Award.
To further advance his expertise, he pursued a fellowship in Advanced Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgery at UC Davis Medical Center, where he trained extensively in advanced laparoscopy, endoscopy, and robotic surgery.
